Happy Spring

I love the springtime. It's so uplifting when the bulbs put on their beautiful show. I only wish they would last a little longer. For an early Mother's Day present, we got this cute little bridge. Quinn, of course, feels it is just right for him.

Sadly, one morning last week, we had some tulip vandals. It was very distressing to be greeted with dozens of decapitated flowers. They destroyed everything in the front corner of the yard. Several homes on our street were hit - probably over a hundred flowers destroyed. All we could do was bring them in and try to enjoy them for a couple of days in the house.

Tennis

Wesley joined the tennis team this year, even though he had never really played tennis before. It's been a learning experience, and he is having fun. For family night, we watched one of his matches since it was a home game. We are proud of his persistence.

Quinn even enjoyed the game for a minute, but when he realized he couldn't play with the balls, he just had fun running in the big open field.

Spring Break Fun

What do you do for Spring Break? Go skiing of course.

The kids had never been skiing before (except for Amanda who went once when she was about 10). Can you belive that? Living in Utah - home of the greatest snow on earth. Skiing is free at Alta after 3:00 and we had half price ski rentals. It was a beautiful, warm day, and the kids had a blast.

Amanda, Wesley and Haylee were naturals.

Heather did well too, and got up everytime she fell. She didn't even fall once on the last run.

Happy Anniversary

Today marks 19 years of marriage. I can hardly believe how quickly time goes by. I'm so grateful to my husband for putting up with me for so long and being so patient and kind. Love you honey! 19 beautiful years and an eternity to go.

A visit from Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa Hyer came for a visit. Quinton had just woken up from a nap and was
being shy. He warmed right up when Grandma offered to take him outside.
He LOVES going outside! They had a fun walk.

Yummy Ice Cream

I made the mistake of bringing an ice cream cone back to our table at Jason's Deli before Quinn was done with his lunch. He quickly confiscated it and as you can see he enjoyed it quite a bit. Messy babies are so cute.
